Driving Range Attendant/GSA

The Driving Range Attendant is responsible for the full oversight, presentation, and operation of the driving range and practice facility.

This position ensures that the range remains in premier condition and is properly staffed from sunrise to sunset, maintaining a seamless and exceptional experience for members and guests throughout the day.

This role blends leadership, service, and golf knowledgebridging the operational excellence of a Lead GSA with the technical understanding of a golf professional.

The Driving Range Attendant plays a vital role in training the team, maintaining standards, and elevating the practice experience for all players.

Primary responsibilities include: Full Range Oversight: Manage daily setup, upkeep, and breakdown of the driving range, ensuring consistent presentation and readiness from open to close.

Staff Leadership: Train and supervise Golf Service Attendants on all range procedures, including ball collection, washing, rotation, setup alignment, and member engagement.

Scheduling & Coverage: Ensure staffing presence during all operating hours and coordinate shift coverage to maintain continuous support.

Club Fitting & Demo Equipment: Maintain familiarity with current club technologies and fitting techniques.

Oversee demo equipment inventory, ensure clean and organized displays, and provide impromptu fittings using launch monitors when needed.

Range Conditions & Turf Coordination: Partner with the Agronomy Team to manage divot patterns, turf rotation, and visual presentation.

Member & Guest Service: Deliver exceptional service by anticipating needs, maintaining professionalism, and upholding CordeValles hospitality standards.

Event & Tournament Support: Collaborate with the Golf Shop and Professional Staff to prepare practice areas for tournaments, clinics, and events.

Operational Flexibility: Support general outside services as needed, including cart staging, pace-of-play monitoring, and club storage.
