ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize, formerly known as Aggregate Industries, operates seven regional construction materials businesses in theUnited States.

The core business of producing crushed stone and sand & gravel is enhanced by downstreamoperations that produce ready mixed concrete, asphalt, and concrete products.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH


* Knowledge of and ability to operate several pieces of dirt work equipment including, but not limited to Dozer,Track loader, Excavator, Skidsteer, Tractor, and Backhoe.


* Assists crew in daily operations on assigned job sites.


* Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the plant and yard area by using general housekeepingpractices.


* Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties.


* Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation.


* Perform pre-shift inspections onmobile equipment.


* Performs emergency and routine repairs and maintenance on plant equipment and structures at the sitelocations.


* May perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, such as lubricating, fueling,and cleaning.


* Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment.


* Grease and fuel mobile equipment.


* Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.


* To act in a safe manner, aware and willing to act upon observing any unsafe practices.


* Perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment and conducts routine inspections on mobileequipment.


* Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.


* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

* Requires one year of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
