Colorist - 3rd Shift

The Colorist is responsible for monitoring and correcting production color utilizing existing formulas and spectrophotometer software.

Work Schedule: 3rd shift 11pm to 7am with a Sunday night start.

Potential for overtime including weekends, Saturday and or Sunday.

Employees are assigned to an A/B rotating weekend schedule.

Training will take place on 1st shift, 7am to 3pm.

Hourly Rate $28.60/hour, including shift differential Responsibilities Formulate new color formulations for plastic materials that meet the customers specificationMonitor production color and make corrections to improve likeness to customer specificationsMonitor color process and correct lab color samples utilizing existing samplesOperate twin and single screw extruders, and injection molding machines to create color chipsMaintains a clean working environmentOther duties as assigned
