What You'll Have



* High School Diploma or equivalent required.


* One year of direct care experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.


* Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements.


* Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain and maintain certification.


* Medication Administration certification (if designated for the role).


* Required clearances, including Acts 33 & 34 and FBI clearance when applicable.


* Physical examination and tuberculosis screening maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.


* For Community Participation Support Enhanced Services, applicable certifications or degrees as required by service definitions.

A Typical Day May Include



* Supporting individuals in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plans (ISP).


* Assisting with community integration, volunteer opportunities, recreational activities, and social engagement.


* Promoting independence in daily living skills, personal care, and decision-making.


* Supporting individuals with vocational exploration and employment-focused activities.


* Providing transportation and accompanying individuals to appointments, activities, and community events.


* Monitoring health, safety, and well-being in all environments.


* Implementing behavior support plans and communication strategies.


* Administering medications in accordance with certification and agency policies.


* Completing documentation, service notes, health records, and other required reports.


* Collaborating with team members, families, and community partners to provide high-quality support.


* Participating in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
