Cafe Manager

Overview Manage both indoor and outdoor caf operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Management Hire, supervise, train, and coach all caf associates.Assist with interviewing and selecting new team members.Direct, train, and schedule staff to ensure consistent service excellence across all caf locations.Maintain high standards of appearance, grooming, and uniform compliance.

Daily Operations Oversee all day-to-day indoor and outdoor caf operations.Prepare daily food and beverage offerings according to recipes and standards.Ensure all grab-and-go products are stocked, fresh, organized, and temperature-controlled.Keep all service areasinside and outsideclean, organized, and member-ready.Rotate and replenish all food items, supplies, and cleaning materials.Place orders with approved vendors and manage daily deliveries and setups for both caf spaces.Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to assigned work and break schedules.Complete additional duties and operational checklists as assigned.

Quality, Safety & Compliance Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in all indoor and outdoor service areas.Implement and enforce cash-handling protocols to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Reporting & Administration Complete all required daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.Manage cash controls and payroll records for caf staff.

Member Experience & Promotion Provide an elevated level of service to members, guests, and staff across all caf areas.Communicate regularly with the team about menu items, promotions, and operational expectations.Plan, market, and execute special events and promotional activities for both indoor and outdoor cafs.Coordinate and supervise special functions as needed.

Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Friendly, people-oriented, creative, and team-focused.SERV Safe certification required.Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach throughout the workday.Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.Ability to work independently and respond quickly to operational needs throughout the department.
