Production Assembly Worker

Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:30am-3pm) Position overview: The Assembly Worker is responsible for performing all tasks necessary to support departmental efficiency and productivity.

This position is assigned to the Assembly Department.

Responsibilities: Maintain a safe work environment with a safety first mindset.Follow all safety processes and procedures.Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products in any department.

Assembly: Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools.Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer.Dependability to report to work.Must be able to read a tape measure.Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools.Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings.Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus.Must pass a drug screen and background check.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Must have a valid state-issued drivers license.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred Supervisory requirements: None Competencies: Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-task.Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements.Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours).Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.Must be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management.
