Location: Parma, OH

Compensation: $40.60–$45.00+ per hour, based on experience, plus overtime and bonus potential

Employment Type: Full-Time

Project Scope: Heavy highway, bridge repair, bridge overlays, culverts, structural concrete, DOT/public infrastructure, union and prevailing wage projects

Travel: Primarily regional work, with occasional out-of-town projects requiring overnight travel

Required Licenses / Certifications: None required at hire; OSHA, safety, and equipment certifications are a plus

The Opportunity

Ohio Concrete Maintenance is looking for a strong Project Foreman to lead field crews on bridge, heavy highway, structural concrete, and DOT-related projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run work in the field, keep crews productive, coordinate the daily plan, and make sure the job is done safely, correctly, and on schedule.

The right person will be a working Foreman: someone who can lead from the front, manage crews and subcontractors, read plans, solve field problems, and jump in when needed to keep the job moving.

This is a strong fit for someone who has been in heavy civil, bridge, or DOT work and is ready for more responsibility, more autonomy, and a long-term path into higher field leadership.

What You’ll Lead


* Lead daily field operations on bridge, heavy highway, culvert, structural concrete, overlay, and DOT-related projects.


* Supervise and direct laborers, operators, crew members, and subcontractors in the field.


* Coordinate daily work plans, manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and site logistics.


* Read and interpret plans, specifications, elevations, and DOT requirements.


* Keep crews productive, safe, and aligned with project expectations.


* Run toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices in active roadway, bridge, traffic-control, and heavy construction environments.


* Track daily field progress, issues, manpower, equipment, and material needs.


* Communicate field updates, delays, material needs, and jobsite issues to leadership.


* Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, and project leadership as needed.


* Help identify and resolve field problems before they impact schedule, quality, or cost.


* Work hands-on when needed while still maintaining crew leadership and field oversight.


* Help train and mentor less-experienced crew members.

High-Value Experience

Experience with bridge and concrete paving work is highly valuable, especially:


* Bridge repair and bridge deck work


* Structural concrete


* Culverts and concrete lining


* Bridge overlays


* Heavy highway rehabilitation


* DOT/public infrastructure work


* Concrete paving or bridge-deck paving equipment


* Bidwell or similar concrete paver exposure is not required, but it is a major plus.
