Key Responsibilities


* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment.


* Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on diesel engines and related systems.


* Repair and replace defective components in excavators, dozers, dump trucks, and tractor trailers.


* Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all repairs.


* Collaborate with field and shop teams to coordinate repairs efficiently.


* Ensure safety compliance in all repair and maintenance activities.


* Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair manuals as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications


* 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy equipment.


* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in diesel mechanics is a plus.


* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.


* Experience servicing excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, and tractor trailers.


* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both shop and field settings.


* Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.


* Must be able to pass a drug screening in compliance with company policy.
