Key Responsibilities



* Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects from planning through completion


* Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and engineers


* Submit RFIs, change orders, and manage project documentation


* Track budget performance and prepare job cost reports


* Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards


* Coordinate and manage project schedules, subcontractors, and suppliers


* Monitor jobsite progress, address delays or field challenges, and ensure project stays on track


* Collaborate with field teams to ensure execution aligns with budget and contract documents


* Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and bid proposals for public and private sector opportunities


* Review bid packages and construction documents to identify scope and resource needs

Qualifications



* 5+ years of experience in construction project management and estimating is required


* Proven track record managing public-sector or union construction projects


* Strong understanding of construction drawings, bid specs, and job costing


* Excellent organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills


* Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing field staff


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with estimating software is a plus


* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under deadlines


* No formal degree required—experience and drive matter most
