Buyer/Purchaser

Novus Technical Services USA is seeking a motivated and experiencedBuyer/Purchaser to support commercial and industrial construction projects by coordinating the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required to meet project schedules and operational needs.

This role is responsible for ensuring purchases are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining alignment with established project procurement budgets.

The Buyer/Purchaser will work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and other project teams to source materials and equipment, review vendor bids, monitor deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement documentation.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple procurement activities and deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferredMinimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or a related roleExperience supporting procurement activities within commercial, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or construction environments preferredStrong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing procedures, vendor management, and project budgetsAbility to review vendor quotations and bids and assist with commercial bid analysisStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and WordAbility to maintain accurate purchasing, vendor, and procurement documentationStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, contractors, project management, and internal operations teamsStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to follow company safety, quality, and procurement proceduresMust be able to pass a background check and drug testReliable transportation This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug/alcohol screening.
