Position Overview BLOC Resources is seeking a skilled Software Developer 2 - Data Solutions Developer to support our client, Southern Company, in Birmingham, Alabama.

This position will support reporting, analytics, data integration, and enterprise application development, connecting business operations with technology.

The Data Solutions Developer will design, develop, enhance, and support software applications, reports, dashboards, APIs, and data-driven solutions that improve access to information and enable effective business decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of C#/.NET development, modern web application development, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, APIs, and enterprise data integration experience.

This individual should be comfortable collaborating directly with business stakeholders, developers, data engineers, and end users to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
