Environmental Health and Safety Intern

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at our Columbia, Missouri location for the Fall 2026 semester.

This is a part-time, onsite position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area.

No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:


* Risk assessment and Job Hazard Analysis


* Development of site-specific safety trainings


* Digitization of EHS documents


* Projects around top 5 hazards


* Lead 5s safety initiatives


* Ergonomic assessments


* Behavior-Based safety


* Environmental sustainability champion


* Site Green team champion


* Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals

based position, the expected pay range is $23 to $27.50 per hour.

Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
