Job Title: CDL Class A Driver / Equipment Hauler

Job Description Summary

W-L Construction, Inc.

is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver / Equipment Hauler to support construction operations by transporting equipment between job sites, highways, private roadways, parking lots, driveways, and active work zones using multi-axle and tractor vehicles.

This position is essential to ensuring equipment is mobilized safely and efficiently to meet daily production schedules.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)


* Transport construction equipment safely between job sites as directed by supervisors.


* Partner with crews to mobilize equipment and support daily schedules and production goals.


* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.


* Perform daily truck inspections and promptly report maintenance issues or deficiencies.


* Assist with flagging operations when required.


* Maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it remains in proper working condition.


* Support crew operations and assist with other tasks as needed to ensure successful project completion.


* Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with coworkers, customers, and the public.

Requirements


* Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment.


* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperature extremes.


* Ability to work flexible schedules, including shifts of 8-12 hours, overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.
