Program Assistant Summary: The Program Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Manager, Eligibility Operations through various administrative and clerical duties and will provide support to various programs and projects.

Responsibilities: Provides support to the Manager, Eligibility Operations Assists in 211 and Weatherization programs and projects Verifies, organizes applications and assists in approvals and denials Communicates between Weatherization Program participants Communicates between 211 Financial Assistance program participants Attends staff meetings and takes notes Makes copies and updates participant and program files as needed Assists with inbound calls when needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities: Detail oriented with the ability to navigate within structured timelines and regulations.

Excellent time management skills Excellent interpersonal skills Creative thinking Excellent phone etiquette Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must have polite, clear and compelling oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to execute and accomplish immediate deliverables on short notice.

Must be highly organized, responsive and be able to handle multiple deliverables at the same time.

Must be a great teammate that cares deeply about the overall success of UWM.
