HR Project Manager
Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the successful execution of strategic and operational projects across Human Resources and Training departments.
Projects will include learning HR and technology implementations, process improvements, new program launches, compliance initiatives, organizational projects, and other department priorities.
This role serves as the central point of coordination for all projects, ensuring that objectives, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined and that projects move forward efficiently and on schedule.
Essential Responsibilities: · Lead HR, Training, and cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, stabilization, and completion.
· Translate leadership objectives into project plans with defined scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, ownership, and success measures.
· Coordinate stakeholders and departments, track progress, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues as needed.
· Facilitate project meetings, maintain action items and decisions, and provide leadership with clear status updates.
· Lead implementation and enhancement of HR, Training, and workforce technology platforms, including HRIS, applicant tracking, onboarding, learning management, performance management, and employee engagement systems.
· Partner with department leaders, end users, vendors, IT, and internal stakeholders to define requirements, workflows, system configurations, and implementation plans.
· Coordinate testing, data migration, integrations, issue resolution, user acceptance, and go-live readiness.
· Support post-launch stabilization and transition systems to ongoing operational ownership.
· Lead initiatives that improve HR and Training processes, efficiency, quality, consistency, and employee experience.
· Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce duplication, improve accountability, and leverage technology.
· Coordinate implementation of new programs, policies, procedures, standardized workflows, and departmental initiatives.
· Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Maintain organized project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, action items, risk logs, timelines, and implementation materials.
· Establish accountability for deliverables and monitor multiple concurrent projects to ensure deadlines and priorities remain on track.
· Develop dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to provide leadership with visibility into project progress.
· Ensure completed projects are properly transitioned to the appropriate operational owner.
· Serve as a liaison across HR, Training, Operations, IT, Compliance, Finance, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive projects forward.
