POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Engineer Optical Metrology is accountable for methodologies to test new and existing product characteristics and performance.

Methodology development includes the construction, validation, documentation and support of all optical and dimensional test methods.

This Associate Engineer supports work with product development teams to transfer design requirements into test methods.

He/She manages hardware acquisition efforts, working with suppliers to create new systems within budgetary and schedule constraints.

Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.

Engages in Credo-based decision-making.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES


* Conduct research and development activities related to the implementation of new optical metrology related test methods.


* Perform routine troubleshooting.


* Recommend quality/compliance improvements on existing instruments, and methods.
