Job Description:
The Synthetics API planning team is recruiting for a Materials Requirement Planner (MRP).

In this role, you will work in a truly global environment, supporting the API manufacturing sites in Geel (Belgium) and Cork (Ireland) while collaborating closely with suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) worldwide.

The Materials Requirement Planner is responsible for the supply of pharmaceutical products for our patients.
The MRP planner owns the inventory management of raw materials ensuring product availability while optimizing cost, including Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory.
The planner defines, measures, analyzes, implements improvements and planning control processes to ensure base business performance, launch readiness and long-term preparedness are aligned with J&J IM Supply Chain strategic objectives.
The success of this role is measured by timely deliveries of orders, which meet target inventory levels and maintain continuity of supply to our internal network & customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, publish and communicate Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) to ensure that patients and customers' requirements are met.
* Set up a balanced master plan optimizing operations efficiency, inventory cost and reliable supply for the horizon of 0-36 months.
* Maintain healthy inventory levels, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials.
Contribute to the global balancing effort of Materials and Components ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost.
