Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 



* Must Demonstrate the following:


* Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of industrial equipment.


* Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects.


* Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes.


* Correctly interprets technical documents for proper execution of assignments.


* Conducts quality assurance measures and inspections.


* Reading and interpreting specifications and blueprints


* Installing, servicing, and repairing conduits, wiring and fixtures


* Conducting electronic inspections and tests


* Grounding electrical systems


* Servicing generators, motors, and medium voltage systems


* Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations


* Able to understand schematics and other technical documents.


* Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks.


* Use ohms Law.


* Understand both AC & DC Voltages


* Size wire


* Size conduits


* Wire/connect 1 phase and 3 phase motors & dual voltage.


* Wire/connect AC drives, DC drives,


* Troubleshoot electrical circuits, equipment, transformers, etc.


* Use test equipment.


* Read/understand ladder and line diagrams.


* Troubleshoot, repair, replace breakers, control circuits,


* Follow NFP70E and NEC guidelines, rules.


* Troubleshoot medium voltage 2300 – 4160 and operate breakers.


* Use laptop/computers/handheld programmers to interface with PLC’s and controllers.


* Follow, troubleshoot Ethernet IP protocol/standards.


* Have an Understanding of NFPA70B Guidelines (details preventive maintenance for electrical, electronic, and communication systems and equipment


* but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment.


* Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.


* Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
