Job Description:

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to support manufacturing operations at our Carol Stream facility onsite Monday-Friday.

This role is responsible for developing production schedules, coordinating material availability, managing inventory needs, and partnering across departments to ensure customer orders are produced and delivered on time.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can shift quickly.

This position plays a critical role in balancing customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels to support operational success.

What You'll Do

As Production Scheduler, you will coordinate production plans and material requirements to ensure efficient operations and reliable customer delivery performance.

You will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain teams to align resources and priorities.

Key Responsibilities


* Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.


* Balance production requirements with labor, equipment capacity, material availability, and inventory levels.


* Adjust schedules as needed to address changing customer priorities, supply chain challenges, and production constraints.


* Monitor production capacity and identify bottlenecks that could impact efficiency or on-time delivery.


* Coordinate material availability and purchasing activities to support production requirements.


* Monitor raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory levels to maintain operational readiness.


* Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve material shortages and delivery issues.


* Support customer delivery commitments through effective planning and proactive communication of risks.


* Track schedule attainment, inventory performance, and other key metrics to support operational decision-making.
