What You'll Do


* Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.


* Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living and functional skills.


* Educate residents and families on therapy programs, safety techniques, and home programs.


* Monitor resident progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist.


* Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.


* Provide compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications


* Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.


* Passion for resident care and geriatric rehabilitation.


* Strong communication and teamwork skills.


* Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
