What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled, resident-centered therapy focused on improving functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.


* Provide skilled interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and functional independence .


* Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to support treatment and optimize resident outcomes.


* Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.


* Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, residents, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.


* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.


* Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, safety techniques, and home programs.


* Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.

Qualifications


* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.


* Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility for licensure.


* Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.


* Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.


* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.
