What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services focused on improving residents' mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
* Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence .
* Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
* Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
* Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
* Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safe mobility techniques, and strategies to support functional independence.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
* Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
Qualifications
* Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license .
* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
