Medical Hill Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated nursing team on an on-call/per diem basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN seeking flexible scheduling while providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing environment.

Position Responsibilities


* Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans


* Assess residents and monitor changes in condition


* Administer medications and treatments as ordered


* Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and appropriate members of the care team


* Supervise and provide direction to LVNs and CNAs


* Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, and resident assessments as needed


* Coordinate care with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team


* Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition


* Follow infection prevention and control procedures


* Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards


* Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life

Qualifications


* Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required


* Current CPR certification required or preferred


* Previous skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care experience preferred


* Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills


* Ability to work independently and effectively within a team


* Dependable, compassionate, and resident-centered approach


* Strong organizational and time-management skills


* Ability to work flexible on-call shifts as needed
