Position Responsibilities


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and mobility


* Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence


* Build positive relationships with residents through companionship and attentive care


* Respond promptly and appropriately to resident needs and call lights


* Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff


* Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs


* Accurately document care provided according to facility policies and procedures


* Review shift reports and care assignments to promote continuity of care


* Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living and care areas


* Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications


* Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required


* Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment


* Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred


* Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care
