Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Plant Production Scheduler for our Sheboygan, WI corrugated packaging facility.

In this role, you will manage production schedules, ensure material availability, and support efficient plant operations.

As a key member of the plant leadership team, you'll collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, and commercial partners to deliver best-in-class corrugated solutions.

What You Will Do



* Create, manage, and optimize daily and weekly schedules for the corrugated paper machine and finishing lines.


* Adjust schedules in real time to address constraints and changing customer priorities.


* Manage roll stock inventory, including ordering, receiving, warehousing, and usage.


* Analyze usage trends to ensure the right material mix and availability.


* Partner with operations, customer service, shipping, and plant teams to align production with customer needs.


* Communicate schedule changes and operational impacts clearly and proactively.


* Use data and PBM® principles to identify opportunities, improve processes, and support plant goals.


* Own and manage trim waste performance, ensuring established plant targets are achieved through effective monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.


* Collaborate with Shipping and Customer Service teams to effectively manage and apply production overruns in alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.


* Provide remote support as needed to help balance customer demand with production capacity, ensuring operational efficiency and timely fulfillment of customer expectations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to analyze, interpret, and communicate data.


* Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


* Experience in scheduling, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, or related operations.

What Will Put You Ahead



* Experience in a corrugated or packaging manufacturing environment.


* Experience using production planning or scheduling systems, such as KIWI, BGO, BVP, or similar platforms.


* Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
