The Marina Manager will be in charge of leading day-to-day operations and management of the business in the absence of the General Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversees the management of berthing, mooring, storage and servicing of boats within the marinaManage maintenance work done throughout the facilityDaily inspection and maintenance to provide a clean and safe facilityHire, manage, train, and supervise teammates while leading by exampleSafely operates Marina owned marine and land vehiclesProvide exceptional customer service for incoming boats and new and existing MembersCoordinate and run Member eventsSustain and optimize profitability, performance and guest satisfactionAssist General Manager with budgets, inventory control, and accounting principles of businessMaintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and local authoritiesManage Member communication through MailchimpManage Member contracts including contract preparation, COIs and processing in accordance with SHM standardsEnsures that teammates, Members and guests observe all marina rules and regulationsAvailability to work overtime when requiredAbility to work weekends and holidays Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related trainingWear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work areaReport all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately Technical and Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred1-5 years marina experience preferredAbility to work safely around the waterMust be able to swimAbility to lift 50 poundsBasic boat handling skills preferredKnowledge of dock construction and repair preferredKnowledge of basic power tools preferredAny skills considered sta...
