Work you'll do

As a Services Specialist, Finance Services on the Global Finance Services team, you will:


* Run and monitor payment cycles across check and electronic payment methods, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and approval requirements.


* Manage payment exceptions and inquiries, including rejected electronic payments, rush requests, stop payments, voids, reissues, and proof-of-payment support.


* Administer check operations, including check printing, distribution, returned mail handling, address issue resolution, and reissuance coordination.


* Support disbursement-related testing and change activities, including system upgrades, banking changes, and new payment methods, with validation and issue triage.


* Maintain process documentation and identify opportunities to improve standardization, efficiency, audit readiness, and payment cycle performance.

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field


* 3+ years of finance and accounting experience in accounts payable, disbursements, or payment operations


* Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, accounts payable (AP) systems, and Microsoft Excel


* Experience supporting check and electronic payment operations


* Ability to work in the Hermitage, TN office at least one day per week in alignment with the team's schedule


* Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.


* Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:


* Proficiency with SAP
