Sales Manager
SUMMARY: The Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and providing professional development for sales teams while setting and tracking weekly, monthly, or quarterly performance goals.
The role also involves generating reports to monitor individual achievement of seasonal targets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: Hiring and training of sales representative positionsOrganizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of sales representativesConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveHandles coaching and training of sales teamPerforms product allocationsProvides leadership to the sales teamMotivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are metAbility to clearly understand and articulate key financial and total cost of ownership concepts within all levels of a dealerHas the ability to coach and execute the consultative selling approach.
Ability to utilize sales process to uncover opportunities, handle customer objections/concerns, and determine appropriate solutionsCreate a territory plan that optimizes call planning, and delivers on executing a sales plan that meets or exceeds stated performance targetsDemonstrate an ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Self-motivated with high energyAbility to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution, or sales with customers and teamCommunicate in an organized, clear, and concise manner to effectively express ideas, plans, actions, and projects to support customer needsAbility to utilize and collaborate with internal and external partners to drive profitable growthDevelop and implement account penetration strategies by conducting regular business reviews with key customers to maximize salesBusiness acumen around sales forecasting, opportunity management, and customer planningStrong process discipline, ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenueDemonstrate our core values, and has leadership qualities to meet the demands of the jobResolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operationsActs as company representative at trade association meetingsPerforms other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.
