Pittsburg Tank and Tower Group Job Description INSPECTION TECHNICIAN Job Summary: The Inspection Helper will assist job Foreman and crew with various duties associated with inspection of steel structures.

Job Duties: Assists with staging equipmentAssists with operations of drone equipmentTakes photos of structuresTakes thickness readings for steel structuresDocument work as neededClimb and inspect towers for defects, safety, and code violationsThe above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.

Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or olderMust be comfortable with working in high placesAbility to follow safety policies and proceduresWorks well with a teamAble to drive a company vehicle safely to field sitesPossesses strong problem-solving skillsManages time effectivelyDetail-orientedMust be willing to travel 4 to 5 weeks at a time across the countryAbility to lift 40lbs on regular basisAbility to pass OSHA 10.Ability to pass CPR/First Aid.Ability to pass RF Awareness.Ability to pass Tower Climbing Certifications including Tower Rescue (Comtrain)Comfortable with climbing heights up to 2000Valid driver's license and pass insurance requirements to drive a company vehicle.
