YMCA of Central Ohio Personal Trainer Hourly Rate: $19-$22 Benefits: FREE YMCA Family Membership Discounted programming Career growth opportunities Work with diverse teams Flexible hours Impact the community Gain leadership experience Develop lifelong safety, leadership and communication skills Duties include: Conducts personal training sessions with Members relevant to their goals; demonstrates proper use of equipment in the wellness center; observes the Members use of equipment and detects/corrects movement patterns that may not contribute to goal achievement.Schedules each session, and begins each session on-time.

Arrives 5 minutes prior to session for set-up, and stays 5 minutes after the session for clean-up.

Ensures all sessions are conducted within the time allowed.

Signs off on each session after it is completed.

Has member sign-off on each session after it is completed.Builds effective, authentic relationships with Members; helps Members connect with each other and the YMCA.Regularly checks on Members progress in meeting goals (both formally and informally); documents the conversations and progress using appropriate tools (i.e.

DAXKO Engage, GroupExPro, physical trainer logbooks).Follows YMCA policies and procedures; responds to emergency situations.
