Service Technician, Frac

SUMMARY: The Field Service Tech I, Frac performs chemical treatment of oil wells and is the primary field representative to assist and answer customer questions or concerns.

JOB DUTIES: Manage chemical inventory and transfer to and from locationSet up and rig down frac equipmentManage pumps, chemical lines, totes, rates and pressuresCommunicate issues and questions to immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough mannerMonitor, maintain and troubleshoot field equipment in support of chemical treatment programsCollect and record data and on occasion present to company man or well site supervisorSubmit paperwork upon completion of fracUnderstand and perform inventory transfers (in/out)Knowledge of valve and well pressures while on oilfield locationsDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization in yard and field operationsMaintain company property in good order (equipment, tools, computer, phones, trucks, etc.)Other duties as may be assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED Basic Math skillsPossess and maintain a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous oil and gas frac experienceExperience with frac equipment used in oil and gas operationUnderstanding of fundamental chemical properties (oil/water solubility)Experience in and competent knowledge of chemical treatment processUnderstanding of well and valve pressures PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings.
