What are we looking for?

The Field Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.

The ideal candidate will be willing to travel in the local region to various projects, specifically New Orleans, LA with experience in concrete testing, nuclear density testing, and pile logging.

What you'll do:

In this role, you will operate testing equipment and perform laboratory and field testing of soil, concrete, and other construction materials while accurately evaluating and reporting test data.

You will utilize construction drawings, specifications, plans, and diagrams to support testing and inspection activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.

The position involves following established testing methods and procedures to conduct detailed observations of site activities, document findings, and provide limited interpretation of results.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of testing activities, observations, and data collected throughout the course of each project.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* Two years of Construction Materials Testing experience required


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record


* High School Diploma or equivalent


* ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Level 1


* Nuclear Density Experience


* Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed


* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
