What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for patients and families while supporting providers in delivering exceptional pediatric care.

Serving as a key member of the care team, you will help coordinate patient visits, assist with clinical procedures, and ensure efficient patient flow throughout the practice.

Responsibilities include:


* Welcome and prepare patients for their visit by collecting vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information.


* Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.


* Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction and according to established protocols.


* Collect specimens, perform basic laboratory testing, and prepare equipment and examination rooms.


* Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.


* Coordinate patient flow to promote efficient, high-quality care.


* Educate patients and families using provider-approved materials and instructions.


* Help create a comforting, supportive environment for children and their caregivers.
