Education:


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.


* Minimum 5 years in accounting in a manufacturing company


* Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment


* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills


* Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and Lookup Functions


* Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and effective communication among team members

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Senior Accountant to perform a variety of accounting and compliance activities.

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will prepare, review and analyze financial and compliance data and documentation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Howmet policies.

The Senior Account will assist in conducting accounting transactions, analysis, and planning activities.

This position maintains accounting systems to ensure that proper recording, analysis, reconciliation, and maintenance of accurate financial data consistently occurs.

The Senior accountant will also work closely with other departments in supporting daily activities related to finance and compliance standards.

This position is an on-site position, reporting to the site Controller in Kingston, NY.
