Float Payroll and Benefits Specialist

American Senior Communities is now hiring a Floating Payroll and Benefits Specialist

The Floating Payroll and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for completing payroll processing for communities that need coverage in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and abiding by State and Federal regulations.  The ideal candidate will provide support and training for field payroll and human resource programs including employee files and new employee onboarding. 

Skills Needed:


* Customer Service and Communication:  Friendly and professional demeanor providing patience, empathy, active listening skills and the ability to provide clear communication. 


* Administrative and Office Skills:  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 


* Supportive Presence:  Creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents and employees.



* Education and Training: Must be able to effectively train, demonstrate, and coach others.



* Teamwork:  The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent provision of HR and payroll services to our communities.

 Requirements:


* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


* 3-5 years of related payroll and benefits experience.


* Experience training others.


* Valid Operator’s license.
