Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility.

Position: Receptionist
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-9:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Receptionist serves as a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, employees, and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to remain organized and attentive in a busy post-acute healthcare environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.


* Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.


* Assist visitors with sign-in procedures and provide appropriate directions or information.


* Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.


* Respond to general inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department or staff member.


* Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other correspondence.


* Maintain visitor and facility logs as required.


* Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.


* Communicate messages accurately and promptly to appropriate staff members.


* Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and facility information.


* Follow facility policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.


* Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


* Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.


* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


* Basic computer and office equipment skills.


* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.


* Reliable and dependable with strong attendance.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus but not required.
