Analyst, Competitive Intelligence & Price to Win
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct opportunity-focused customer and competitor research to support PTW assumptions and competitive positioning.
- Collect, organize, and validate award history, procurement data, incumbent information, and relevant market intelligence.
- Support competitive pricing analysis by compiling prior award data, pricing benchmarks, contract values, labor categories, and relevant cost drivers.
- Assist in building and maintaining bid-specific competitive pricing databases, source logs, and evidence files.
- Use analytical platforms, spreadsheets, and internal tools to support top-down, bottom-up, and parametric analyses under direction.
- Prepare draft charts, summaries, source extracts, and analysis packages for review by more senior PTW team members.
- Participate in pre-bid and RFP review discussions to capture risks, questions, assumptions, and information gaps.
- Support strategy sessions, customer value proposition workshops, and proposal team activities through research and data preparation.
- Maintain strong documentation standards to ensure analysis is traceable, current, and usable by the broader capture/proposal team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program Specific Requirements:
- Research, data organization, spreadsheet analysis, source documentation, procurement research, pricing support, market analysis, finance, business analysis, or business development support.
- Ability to collect and organize award data, procurement details, incumbent information, market intelligence, labor/category benchmarks, contract values, and supporting source evidence accurately.
- Ability to maintain traceable documentation, prepare clear summaries, follow review direction, work under deadlines, and support PTW assumptions and bid strategy inputs.
- Strong Excel, data cleanup, and attention to detail required.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
Home office requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet service
Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds/50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity
Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speeds
