Director - Pursuit Management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the organization's first-response function for Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Requests for Information (RFIs), unsolicited and emerging opportunities, and other short-fuse business development requests.
- Leads early opportunity qualification, triage, risk assessment, and resource mobilization to ensure timely and disciplined pursuit execution.
- Lead intake, assessment, and triage of newly identified, unsolicited, and previously untracked opportunities across multiple lines of business.
- Establish and manage rapid-response processes for evaluating opportunity fit, strategic alignment, resource requirements, competitive positioning, and pursuit viability.
- Facilitate early qualification activities and executive decision-making regarding bid/no-bid recommendations.
- Maintain visibility into emerging opportunities and escalate high-priority pursuits requiring immediate attention.
- Track MSA, RFI, and emerging opportunity activity to identify trends, readiness requirements, and future pipeline opportunities.
- Lead rapid mobilization of pursuit resources for short-fuse opportunities, task orders, demonstrations, executive presentations, and accelerated procurement timelines.
- Assess resource availability, identify capability gaps, and escalate constraints that may impact pursuit success.
- Ensure critical milestones, reviews, and executive approvals are completed within compressed timelines.
- Provide strategic guidance to executives on pursuit readiness, resource deployment, schedule acceleration, and risk mitigation.
- Lead, coach and develop a team by providing clear direction that support individual and organizational objectives
- Champion responsible use of approved AI-enabled tools and automation to improve intake, triage, reporting, knowledge management, and pursuit operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.
Program Requirements:
-Specialized experience needed: leading pursuit intake, early qualification, triage, risk assessment, resource mobilization, and pursuit governance for complex government, health and human services, BPO, contact center, or similarly complex services opportunities.
-Candidates should have demonstrated ability to advise executives on opportunity prioritization, readiness, schedule acceleration, go/no-go considerations, unresolved decisions, governance cadence, and cross-functional resource deployment.
-Must be comfortable operating in short-fuse environments, balancing speed with quality, and using approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve visibility, coordination, and follow-through.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
