Sr Project Manager - Pursuit Management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage opportunities across the full pursuit lifecycle and lead cross-functional project teams through readiness milestones.
- Own integrated project plans, governance routines, milestone schedules, risk registers, action logs, and executive status reporting.
- Coordinate across operations, IT, pricing, HR, finance, proposal, sales, and internal stakeholders to maintain progress against pursuit timelines.
- Monitor schedule health, milestone readiness, unresolved actions, decision delays, and risk exposure across assigned opportunities.
- Escalate risks, issues, and decision needs with clear impacts, owners, timing, and recommended next steps.
- Promote practical use of approved AI-enabled tools to improve workflow efficiency, automate routine coordination tasks, and strengthen visibility into action status, milestones, and risks.
- Run after-action reviews and translate lessons learned into pursuit management, governance, and tracking improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program Requirements:
-Specialized experience needed: hands-on management of complex pursuits, proposals, implementations, or other deadline-driven projects with multiple workstreams, dependencies, governance routines, and executive visibility.
-Candidates should be advanced users of integrated project plans, milestone schedules, readiness trackers, RAID logs, action registers, decision logs, and executive status reporting.
-Must have strong cross-functional coordination experience across operations, IT, pricing, HR, finance, sales, proposal, SMEs, and leadership stakeholders.
-Must communicate clearly, escalate early, and use approved AI-enabled tools to streamline notes, action tracking, reporting, and risk visibility.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail skills needed
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
Home office requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet service
Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds/50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity
