Structural Engineer

In this full-time role, youll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and architects to deliver precise, constructible designs for a variety of industrial, municipal, and renovation projects.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design structural components and document production (calculations, drawings and specifications) for a variety of project types and sizesParticipate in collaborative project teams in the initial planning and proposal processes, may include cursory review of environmental factors, government regulations, construction costs and risk analysisDetermine practical applications, strength and durability expectations and cost-benefits informationCreate structural models using computer-aided design softwareCollaborate with project managers and other discipline team members including civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical to creatively solve competing design challengesDepending on experience level, project management responsibilities may be included
