Pharmacist - PRN

Prepares and dispenses medications in accordance with physician orders, pharmacy standards, and applicable state and federal laws.Performs drug utilization reviews, verifies technician order entry and medication preparation, and identifies therapeutic incompatibilities, allergies, and other medication-related concerns.Provides patient counseling and assists with medication-related questions and customer service concerns.Oversees technician workflow and verifies prescription preparation, labeling, and packaging.Maintains compliance with pharmacy regulations, controlled-substance requirements, safety procedures, and infection-control standards.Assists with inventory management, including recalls, expired medications, and medication counts.Collaborates with providers and pharmacy staff regarding dosing, formulary changes, therapeutic substitutions, and evidence-based medication interventions.Maintains professional licensure and required pharmacy records and completes other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacyLicensed in the state of Missouri and Kansas
