Broiler Cook Kenwood Country Club | Cincinnati, Ohio Kenwood Country Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Broiler Cook to join our culinary team.

The Broiler Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking steaks, burgers, chicken, seafood, and other menu items to our high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

This position is ideal for a culinary professional who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys providing an exceptional dining experience for club members and their guests.

Responsibilities Prepare and cook steaks, burgers, chicken, seafood, and other grilled or broiled menu items according to established recipes and specifications.Consistently prepare food to the appropriate temperatures and desired levels of doneness.Operate and maintain grills, broilers, and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.Properly season, portion, and plate food according to Kenwood Country Club standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.Communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, servers, and other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate service.Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as needed.Properly store, label, and rotate food products.Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications Previous experience as a broiler, grill, or line cook preferred.Knowledge of cooking temperatures, food safety, and proper food handling procedures.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and plating standards.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and move kitchen supplies as needed.Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
