Orchard View Post Acute is seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our dietary team.

Position Overview:

As a Cook, you'll play an essential role in providing well-balanced, nutritious meals to our residents.

You'll be responsible for meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities include:


* Preparing and serving meals according to planned menus and dietary needs


* Ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures


* Collaborating with the dietary team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation


* Monitoring inventory and assisting with food orders as needed

Qualifications:


* Prior cooking experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus


* Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special dietary requirements


* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment


* Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
