As a Capital Risk Analyst in Capital Risk Management, you help us monitor, analyze, and report capital risk across the firm.

You work with us to drive process improvements, leverage new technologies, and support senior management with actionable insights.

You collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to a resilient, innovative team.

Job responsibilities:


* Monitor regulatory capital metrics against risk limits and indicators


* Ensure accuracy of capital metrics and escalate breaches as needed


* Drive process improvements and develop new analytical capacities using AI and LLM


* Analyze variances in capital metrics such as Risk Weighted Assets, Leverage Exposure, CET1, Tier 1, Total Capital, TLAC, and LTD capital


* Independently assess and challenge capital management activities including forecasts, actions, optimizations, targets, allocations, and stress-test scenarios


* Conduct deep dives on regulatory changes, risk, balance sheet, and market dynamics; present findings to senior management


* Prepare board-level analysis and presentations for executive forums


* Monitor current and emerging risks across asset classes


* Stay up-to-date with market news, regulations, and peer bank activity


* Interact frequently with capital management, capital P&A, line of businesses, controllers, and support functions


* Manage processes with superior attention to detail

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Experience in capital, liquidity, market risk, or related areas; Treasury or Finance background considered


* Advanced degree in Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or related quantitative discipline


* Demonstrated proficiency in LLM, Python, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, or dashboard building


* Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and assess risks to capital position


* Strong knowledge of financial markets and asset classes


* Understanding of balance sheet and income statement fundamentals


* Experienced in data-driven storytelling via PowerPoint and Excel


* Excellent oral and written communication skills


* Strong analytical skills with ability to develop thesis and present ideas


* High ownership, self-starter attitude, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
