The Welder II is responsible for producing quality weldments according to blueprints, weld procedures, work instructions, and production requirements.

This position works with limited supervision and performs more complex welding and fabrication tasks while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

We are looking for a Welder II for 3rd Shift.

What You'll Do


* Perform MIG/FCAW and other assigned welding processes


* Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions


* Set up welding equipment, select proper settings, wire, gas, and consumables


* Complete tack-up, fit-up, welding, grinding, and finishing operations


* Inspect welds for quality, size, appearance, and defects


* Identify and correct common welding problems


* Use measuring tools and basic inspection equipment


* Meet established production, quality, and labor-hour expectations


* Safely operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other equipment when trained and authorized


* Follow all safety, PPE, hot-work, 6S, and material-handling requirements


* Complete required production and quality documentation


* Assist in training less-experienced welders when requested


* Report safety, quality, material, and equipment issues to supervision
