What are we looking for?

The Solar (PV) Engineer is responsible for providing engineering expertise to evaluate conformance of inverters, energy storage systems, solar / photovoltaic panels, solar racking and tracking systems to industry standards, creating evaluation reports and test plans, conducting and/or witnessing testing, resolving technical and/or administrative issues and providing Intertek customers with superior customer service.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:


* Conduct evaluations of equipment as required, to determine compliance with applicable standard(s).


* Plan, coordinate and execute project work and keep the client informed.


* Read and understand schematics and manufacturing instructions.


* Validate the project scope and sample applicability.


* Identify and locate test instruments and equipment required for testing within the scope of the project.


* Set up and operate equipment under test (EUT).


* Perform testing of products in accordance with standards.
