Foundry Supervisor, Core Room

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Foundry Supervisor in the Core department to join our team.

The ideal candidate will work directly on the shop floor and will ensure the production of company products at the highest quality; meeting company performance standards and customer (internal and external) specification and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supervision of department staff; schedule work assignment for all team members; provide specific work instructions to all employees; Routinely review backlog deadlines/requirements and attend weekly production meeting; prepare to discuss department updates and status; document methods to assure consistency within department; expedite priority jobs within the department; ability to delegate, develop, train and coach employees to expedite workload and process improvements; act as a liaison to the maintenance department to assure departmental tools and machines are operating effective and efficiently; regulate and practice safety in the work environment.
