Senior Product Owner II
Role Summary
The Product Owner for IA Services & Advisory is responsible for translating business strategy and customer needs into clear, actionable requirements that can be effectively delivered by Agile R&D teams.
Acting as the primary interface between Product Management and engineering, the Product Owner ensures that service offers deliver measurable business value while meeting technical, quality, and time-to-market expectations.
Operating within an Agile framework, the Product Owner owns and prioritizes the product backlog, drives sprint and release readiness, and ensures alignment between the Services vision and execution.
This role combines customer-centric thinking, strong Agile leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to support the end-to-end lifecycle of IA Services offers.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Product Ownership & Delivery
* Act as Product Owner for one or more Scrum teams, working closely with the SCRUM Master to ensure Agile ceremonies, practices, and principles are effectively applied.
* Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring a continuous flow of well-defined, ready-for-development user stories.
* Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, iteration reviews, and release planning, ensuring alignment with sprint and release goals.
* Ensure development teams have a clear understanding of acceptance criteria, priorities, and expected outcomes.
* Actively identify, escalate, and support the resolution of impediments that may impact sprint or release commitments.
Bridge Between Business and Technology
* Partner closely with Product Managers to translate market needs, customer requirements, and service strategy into clear epics, features, and user stories.
* Ensure consistent alignment between business value, customer outcomes, and technical feasibility.
* Serve as the primary point of clarification for R&D teams regarding functional intent, priorities, and scope trade-offs.
* Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural and service sustainability considerations.
Value, Strategy & Governance
* Assess and articulate business value, ROI, and risk, using these insights to drive prioritization decisions.
* Provide input into the product vision, roadmap, and release strategy for IA Services offers.
* Ensure delivered features and services align with overall Services & Advisory business objectives.
* Support lifecycle management activities including part numbers, licensing models, purchase orders, and service packaging where applicable.
Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
* Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Services, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Support.
* Communicate progress, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Contribute to training, enablement, and internal/external communication related to service offers and new capabilities.
