What You'll Do

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents restore function, increase independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities include:


* Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments based on individualized care plans.


* Assist residents in improving activities of daily living, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.


* Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team.


* Accurately document treatments, progress, and functional outcomes.


* Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques, therapeutic exercises, safety strategies, and home programs.


* Collaborate with the rehabilitation and nursing teams to provide high-quality, resident-centered care.


* Build positive relationships with residents while encouraging participation and progress toward individualized goals.
