What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents restore function, improve mobility, and maximize independence.

Responsibilities include:


* Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on individualized care plans.


* Assist residents with improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.


* Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy team.


* Document treatments and resident outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.


* Educate residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies.


* Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional, resident-centered care.


* Maintain a positive, compassionate, and professional approach with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications


* Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility for licensure.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Passion for rehabilitation and resident-centered care.


* Positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset.


* Strong organizational and documentation skills.
